Students teach the students: Recycling Lab

Innovation Ecology students are teaching a lesson on recycling practices to the freshmen taking their Living Environment class. According to Innovation science teacher Leslie Liang, “They will practice how to recycle, what you can recycle, and which bins to use. Freshmen classes will be receiving blue and green bins for their classrooms as an ‘Innovation Recycles Pilot Program’.”

In this flipped classroom model, our students teach these sustainable habits to our younger generation, demonstrating leadership, ecological custodianship, and community!
